Resolutions? If I hear it one more time I’m going to scream!!! For most of us in the industry, we are already working and have almost finalized our 2012 bikes so you can say I’m a year ahead of my 2011 resolutions – that’s assuming I make them – which I don’t.

I think most of us in the industry are driven people. We really do what we do for the passion, not the money. You would be surprised what most people make in the bike industry, the hours we work and the frequent flier miles we all hold on International Airlines.

So what is new for Kestrel in 2011? ATHLETES and lots of them. On the Kestrel website you can see the list. From Andy Potts, Team Trakkers, Pip Taylor and many more, Kestrel is committed to supporting athletes. We aren’t just involved in Triathlon. Our committment to the Road market goes to the Protour level. Our sister company Fuji sponsors the Geox Team. Kestrel has offered our Kestrel 4000 to the team for their TT needs. We are psyched to have the Geox team request our bikes.

We also signed a RAAM – Race Across America Team. They will be racing on our new RT1000 bike. Designed as an Endurance Bike, the RT1000 is perfect for racing across the country and any other riding where a slightly higher position is required.

2011 also brings the sponsorship of the REV 3 Race Series. Kestrel has been picked as the Official Bike of the Rev 3 Series and we will be there supporting all the athletes with tune ups, race support and we will be there to introduce the Trakkers Team to everyone.

On a personal note, I want to thank you all for your support of Kestrel. Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.

Thanks and make it a great one!
